Who We Are in Our Scottsdale Offices
The BrainAdvantage team in Scottsdale is diverse, expert and complementary. The BrainAdvantage staff brings substantial medical, neurotherapeutic, educational, technical, and subject matter expertise.
- Stephanie Reese, Ph.D.
Dr. Reese has a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science and Technologies as well as degrees in Curriculum Development and Radiology. She is a former educator and author and has 20 years experience in radiology and nuclear medicine. She is an Arizona certified teacher and is also certified in HEG Neurofeedback, audio/visual entrainment, NeuroMotor skills training and auditory retraining. She has been researching and using neurotechnologies for over 10 years.
- Andrew Reese
Andrew Reese serves as General Manager. Mr. Reese has a BS in Economics and a JD from Harvard Law. He is also a former educator with experience in law and technology management. He has extensive experience in software development, interface design, technical and marketing communications as well as business operations.

Our Founders
Donald Barrett serves as Chairman and Managing Member. Mr. Barrett has a BS in Computer Science and an MBA. He is a former CEO of computer and telecommunication system integration companies.
Andrew Reese serves as General Manager. Mr. Reese has a BS in Economics, and a JD from Harvard Law. He is experienced in law, technology management, has extensive experience in software development, interface design, technical and marketing communications, and business operations.
Stephanie Reese serves as Chief Science Officer. She has a Ph.D. in Cognitive Sciences and Technologies.

Hershel Toomim, DSc. Dr. Toomim has been an influential member of the neurofeedback community for many years and holds the patent for HEG neurofeedback. He also is a longtime researcher and neurofeedback practitioner.
Martha M. Grout, MD, MD(H), a respected physician in Scottsdale, AZ., specializes in a combination of allopathic and homeopathic medicine to treat autism, AD/HD, food and environmental allergies and toxins as well as memory and cognitive deficits.

Barb Nejman Barbara Nejman is an Olympic Diver and coach. She currently is dive coach of the Neptune Dive Club as well as the Paradise Valley School District in Arizona and teaches at Notre Dame Preparatory High School.
Dan O'Brien. Dan O'Brien is the 1996 Olympic Decathalon Gold medalist and also won gold medals at the 1991, 1993, and 1995 World Championships in Athletics.
